A Man of his word...

On Saturday  the "Mom's Club" of Fairfield (the community where we live) held a fall festival with a jumpy thing, train rides, and various booths set up by vendors selling things.  Rowen was so exhausted by the time we were able to go so I put him down for a nap and stayed home while Mike took Riley and Reece.  Before they left Riley told me since I couldn't come with him, he would buy me something purple because it was my favorite color.  He thought it was a carnival and would have cotton candy.  "Maybe they'll have purple cotton candy I could get you!!"  he said with excitement.  Turns out there was no cotton candy and wasn't really a carnival afterall, but Mike told me Riley would NOT let him leave until he got to pick out something purple for me.  He came home with the most adorable girly purple hair bow.  It's obviously for a little girl but it is most definitely my favorite color and very dainty.  I love it.  I love it not because it's an adorable little girl bow or because it's purple, it could be made of lizard skin and I would still love it.  I love it because Riley picked it out especially for me.  Mike told me Riley went in and out of different tents looking for the perfect purple gift for his momma.  He said it took him a little while to find exactly what he wanted.  Here's a picture of the beautiful gift from my sweet and thoughtful little man.  My heart is full. <3
