I went to Arkansas to visit some old friends and family. While I was there, I went to see my longtime friend, Angie. She's a tattoo artist and I had asked her to draw me a girly-looking anchor to represent the time I spent in the U. S. Navy. I also had her add an "R3" in representation of my boys. The two coolest things I ever did in my life....so far.

It wasn't excruciating, but it certainly didn't feel good. I made it though and I am very happy with the outcome!
The finished product. It's still fresh so I'll take another one to put on here soon. It's doing well, the swelling has gone down and it itches some, but otherwise it's healing nicely.
