Vacation Bible School 2011

The boys enjoyed a full week of action packed VBS at our church.  The theme was "Joseph's Journey" and they all three had a blast and learned so much!  I took tons of pictures so I'm going to try to narrow it down to some of the best ones.  They're all on Facebook so if you're my FB friend you've probably already seen them.

Riley jumped right in with his friends, Elise (L) and Levi (R)

Rowen and Reece were in the PreK class and got to shadow Riley's class.  They liked it once I disappeared.  If they saw me at all though, it was all over.  They cried and fussed wanting me.  Needless to say...I was a phantom. ;-)

My awesome friends!  Valerie (L) and Kim (R)

The decorations were great!

Our preacher, Michael Whitworth, dressed up as and taught the kids about Joseph's life.

Reece and Rowen doing what they love to do...making faces at the people sitting behind them. haha!

I had to use my big lens on my camera and sneak around to get pictures of Reece and Rowen so they wouldn't see me.  Riley was okay with it, but with these two I had to be sneaky.

Riley's new buddy, Levi

They were singing a song together.  So cute!

My friends Valerie (Levi's mom), and Kim.

I just love these beautiful ladies!

Riley was having a great time!

Our Youth Minister, Mike Johns.  He's super fun and all the kids love him!

Those of you who know Riley, know that he has a slight obsession with stuffed animals.  His favorite from VBS was the stuffed Rhino.  He loved it!

On the last day each age group got up on the stage to sing us all a song that they had learned.  It was awesome.  All 3 of mine were in the same group.  Reece and Rowen are in the blue shirts and Riley is the farthest on the right in a red shirt.

I helped in the craft area for everyone but their class so the two little ones wouldn't have a melt down.  It was such a fun experience and I can't wait to do it again next year!  The kids had a wonderful time and made lots of new friends.  We are very thankful for our new church and feel blessed to have such amazing people in our lives and influencing the lives of our sweet boys.
